EXECUTIVE COACHING IN A NUTSHELL

Executive coaching is an efficient, affordable, proven method to boost your impact, as an individual leader or as a team. Using a clear roadmap and a personalised process, I guide you safely to use new skills and reach your business goals.

Like a sports coach working with an Olympic athlete, you get both challenge and support to be at your best.

A professional executive coach helps you deliver high performance without overstretching or making costly mistakes.

COACHING PROCESS

  • During a FREE 30 minute introductory call
We check in on client-coach compatibility and decide if we should proceed. I share what coaching is — and is not — to clarify expectations with you and any stakeholders involved (Boss, HR). I distinguish clearly between coaching, consulting, psychotherapy, counselling, facilitation, mentoring and training. If you request it, I can refer you to other helping professionals as needed. I discuss my coaching packages, agreeing with you on mutual responsibilities of both coach and client, as well as setting out the role of relevant stakeholders in your development process. I provide terms and conditions for my coaching packages, including logistics, fees, scheduling, duration, termination, ethics and confidentiality. When you purchase a package, I provide a coaching contract and invoice/receipt. Before any coaching work begins, payment in full is required up front for the selected coaching package.
  • In a 45 minute intake to start our collaboration
I partner with you and any relevant stakeholders (Boss, HR, peers or others) to set out a coaching plan with specific leadership impacts that you and your organisation aim to achieve. I assert confidentiality around any information shared. I never divulge topics discussed in sessions except with permission from coachees or the team members whom I am coaching. I emphasize that you are always free to choose any ideas, directions, processes or solutions you wish to pursue. In doing so, you remain 100% responsible for learning, progress, and results.
  • During each 60 or 90 minute coaching session
I work with you to identify / reconfirm what you wish to learn at the start of each session I work with you to track progress using pre-agreed measures of success I support you to manage the time and focus of the session I coach you on your own stated/desired outcome unless indicated otherwise
  • During our last coaching session
We do a thorough review of learnings and impacts achieved You give feedback about the process, the coaching and highlights I offer recommendations for next steps in leadership development We honour our collaboration and celebrate a successful progress
  • In a 30 minute follow up call about 6 weeks after end
I ask you for an update on your progress and learnings I coach you on any relevant questions in that moment I recommend next steps and any relevant readings or referrals
  • To prepare for any team coaching program
I explain how team coaching differs from team building, team training or group facilitation I ask for commitment from the team to peer coach each other I explain how we will explore team dynamics and patterns inside the team I work with the team leader to ensure self-sufficiency of the team
